Men’s Sport Penny: Made to Order

I am not sure I have ever had a better quality shoe . The leather is outstanding, great cushion, and the craftmanship is top notch. This is a custom-made shoe, unfortunately you cannot return it. I found the fit runs small in width, not what I have found in a typical D width. I contacted customer service and they offer a stretching process.; you send the shoes back and they have the craftsmen heat and stretch the shoes. It helped but not enough. So you may want to consider ordering a wider shoe than you normally do. Will I order from them again? Absolutely, but in a wider width. I love their story, quality, and heritage. This is a great brand to have in your closet.

I ordered the Sport Penny Loafer in a standard D width. The length was perfect but the width was ridiculously wide.

I'm swimming in these shoes. I've noticed the quality and attention to detail slipping in my last few purchased. Don't think I'll try again. I hope they listen to feedback.

No way that last is a double e. Way to narrow in the instep I should have had you make a eee or even a 4e .

Don’t make the mistake of making your first pair of Quoddys an MTO like I did. You need to be sure of your size because these can’t be exchanged. I normally wear size 9 in Sperrys so I used that as a guide and just to be safe I sized up half a size. I was still off. I would have been better off with a size 10 but the bigger problem is the width. D width is too tight. Needed to be an E. I don’t think I’ll be able to wear these and it’s too bad because they’re great looking shoes.
