Well, these were definitely worth the wait. From the first smell of the Horween leather to the anticipation of wearing them for the first time, I got all tingly inside when they arrived. Very comfortable with a medium pair of socks, right out of the box. I usually wear a size 12 in my boots which usually gives me some wiggle room so I can wear thicker socks, but for these handmade wonders, I traced out my foot on paper as suggested and then measured the outline. It measured for a 12 exactly but I knew the leather would stretch a little as it molded to my foot. Couldn’t have asked for a better fit than if I had been to Quoddy in Maine myself. These moc’s were a tad more expensive than the pair of ring boots I bought at a leather shop in Amherst back in the early 70’s but also a whole lot better made. These are boots I’ll probably hand down to the next generation in my will.
