The past two years have been difficult for everyone across the globe. For Quoddy, the effects of COVID have played a substantial role in our ability to deliver on a timely basis.
The delays occurred due to many factors, mainly; the global shut down of component manufacturing partners, substantial material inventory issues, increased costs, shipping disruptions, and staff adjustments. Fortunately, Quoddy has remained open and operational throughout and, most importantly, kept all of our employees intact. Unfortunately, the combination of issues has meant Quoddy’s ability to deliver all products on a timely basis and at the level of quality our customers expect has been impacted.
First and foremost, we want all of our customers to know, without a doubt, that Quoddy is committed to delivering the highest quality products on a timely basis to meet your expectations. We want to apologize for any inconvenience these issues may have caused. We continue to work diligently with our leather, component, and freight partners to ensure their levels of quality and priority to deliver on time can be achieved as quickly as possible. Simultaneously, we continue to search the globe to find new vendors whose products meet or exceed the standards set by Quoddy.
