High Quality, Sizing Woes
There's no doubt these shoes are exceptionally well-made. My confidence in their quality is so high that I'm willing to overlook the sizing challenges. I own the Quoddy Camp Moc in a 10.5, and while they initially required some breaking in, they now fit me like a glove. I ordered this pair in an 11 wide, and the fit is remarkably SNUG. The toe box lacks height, though the length seems about right, perhaps a touch short. Both the width and the top of the foot feel tight. Thankfully, there's no pain. In an attempt to stretch them, I've placed shoe trees inside and will continue the somewhat uncomfortable break-in process. I genuinely appreciate their aesthetic and am committed to putting in the effort, hoping to achieve the perfect fit that I've come to expect from my other Quoddys. Only time will tell.
