Men’s Blucher Shoe: Whiskey

Fine, thick and yet soft leather, promises to last very long. I especially like that the shoe has an inlay sole which is sown to the actual plastic/rubber sole, that way it cannot move (as happens with an inlay which you can remove), I was always looking for a moccasin that you can walk and even hike in, so it needs a sole which is at least a little bit cushioned. Initially, the heel part seemed a bit low to me, but now I realize it holds the heel itself fast enough, and yet is low enough to be able to slip into the shoe. Currently I am still breaking in the bluchers, but am sure, next summer they will be just perfect, even barefoot.

I love the shoe. It is like wearing a baseball glove on your feet. The old adage “they don’t build things the way they used to” does not apply to this fabulous product.

Classic Blucher moc. Well constructed. Fits well.

Great!! The heels slip a little when walking which I imagine will stop after I put in some Superfeet inserts. The other small issue is the soles are very very very slip proof. On one of my rugs it seems as if the rug and shoe are clinging to each other. At 81 years old I do occasionally shuffle my feet for a few steps. Also, as a drummer my bass drum pedal is easier to play with a sole that can slide a bit. Maybe for my next order you might have a choice of soles???
