I am dissapointed becuase the shoe I recieved 3 months after ordering was a completely different material than what is pictured here. It looks nothing like “whiskey” and looks more like a yellow suade material. I have their loafer in Whiskey from a few years ago and it matches the picture here and matches the men’s version of this shoe in whiskey. I did reach out to customer service and they let me know that the women’s shoes are made in their partner location in the Dominican Republic and they were going to reach out to see if the shoe was made incorrectly, or if this was their version of whiskey but I have yet to hear back. I want so much to keep giving them my business because I really appreciate handmade shoes from the US but I was a little disappointed to learn that the women’s shoes are not even made in Maine as advertised. I dont understanding why they can make a men’s version in this leather, but not a women’s. Oh well.
