In Stock Men's Rover Penny: Brown

Beautifully crafted. Received slightly wrong item due to a little miscommunication - no big deal. Handled well by customer service team. Ultimately they didn't work for me for a number of reasons but nothing to do with the quality or customer service. I need significant arch support and hoped to be able to add an aftermarket insole but would probably have to order up 1.5 sizes to accommodate. Will be in Maine this summer for work and will make an appointment to stop by the shop in Lewiston to try on a few. They are too nice not to have a pair!

Business casual, for me, is more frequent than suit and tie anymore. I was looking for a comfortable, casual shoe with good traction that I could wear with business casual. This shoe works well for that. It strikes a great balance between professional and casual. And it's Quoddy, which always speaks for itself.

Stitching, leather, finish - all perfect. Weirdly, though, the left shoe is visibly narrower. This is unfortunate as my left foot is in fact a trace wider than my right foot. End result - right shoe is slightly loose (just fine from my perspective) left side is close to unbearably tight - too tight to walk in or even have on my foot in for more than a couple of minutes. I have a pair of muscular shoe trees that I've jammed in there, hoping to avoid having to go to a cobbler to get that one stretched. Dubious, though, it's going to have to stretch a good bit.

Might be a bit of a stretch... Thank you, I'll show myself out.

Recommended from Quoddy staff member size for me was 11.5, true to size. But the shoes are too tight and very uncomfortable. Not impressed with the leather quality Made from Dominican Republic.
