Soft & Comfortable

We’ll-made, soft and comfortable, it is lightweight and excellent for 3 season wear. The support of a Chuckka with the comfort of a moccasin. 5 ***** quality.

Limited Edition Kennebec Chukka in Utica Brown

I live in the UK so was a little hesitant ordering from the US - I'm a medium to wide fitting so was unsure if the Kennebec Chukka might be a little on the tight side but after only a couple of trial runs they are a perfect fit(US size 8). The Utica brown is a great leather and with a hardwearing vibram lug sole they should last for years. Great customer service to back them up!

Comfort and utility with no compromises

I bought a pair with black vibram soles at the tent sale and it was the best shoe bargain of my life. They're TTS, exceptionally comfortable right out of the box (the leather is so soft!), go through snow and slush without a problem, have good traction, and don't look half bad. They're almost nicer on my feet than going barefoot. You'll need good wool socks in cold weather, but for all but deep snow this has immediately become my favorite winter boot.

Loose stitching

I have long intended to step beyond the Quoddy bluchers I've worn and loved for the last decade (thank you Quoddy resole service!) but while my first pair Kennebec Chukkas arrived looking handsome as expected, loose stitching around the toe detail appeared after to days of light wear (mostly spent seated at work). The main stitching looks secure as it does on the bluchers, the lighter weight thread in toe area and other details seems to have not made it through the leather in some places. Waiting to wear until i can get to a local cobbler.
