The uppers are handcrafted in the classic fisherman design in premium pull-up leather with a buckle closure at the back. Our Cal sandals are designed to fit and feel fabulous right out of the box, thanks to our newly developed Quoddy Comfort Midsoles™. They offer cloud-like contoured polyurethane in the footbed that provides enhanced arch support and shock absorption. We also added our proprietary Quoddy Grip™ cradle outsoles for great stability and traction underfoot. Imported.

Comfortable, Supportive, Cool
They feel great when you wear them with bare feet. I walk on pavement, sidewalk and gravel 2 miles daily. They don't pick up debris, they don't rub your feet sore, they are very comfortable and cool. In cooler weather I tried wearing them with light socks. Canoe shoes were better for that. But in hot weather worn barefoot - very nice! I wear 9 to 9E. There is plenty of room with size 9 and not too much. color is not dark - more of a medium brown. Great sandals. Thanks, Quoddy.
